Antique c1900, Portrait of an old sea salty, most likely a fisherman going by his traditional European fishing hat and beard. The fisherman has a characterful face with a knowing expression; the painting sits in a handsome ebonised wood & gesso frame; there is a small chip to the frame in the upper left corner (see pics).
Oil on thick card, signed lower right (indistinct), original hanging ring to the reverse.
Professionally cleaned & ready to hang.
