A beautiful Australian country scene;  a flock of sheep meandering down a quiet country road; by listed artist Leslie James Walker (1894-1951).

Born in Parramatta Sydney on August 5th 1894, Leslie James Walker was an etcher and painter who studied at the Granville Tech College under Alfred Coffey, he also took classes at the Royal Art Society and studied etching under the tuteladge of Sydney Long. Renouned as an etcher, he then shifted his focus to Portrait and Landscape painting. Walker was a prominent member of the Australian Painter-Etchers Society and Royal Art Society.
